Dr. Calliope Holingue is an assistant professor at the Center for Autism Services, Science, and Innovation (CASSI) at Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Department of Mental Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Holingue received a BA from UC Berkeley in Public Health and Molecular Cell Biology in 2013, an MPH in epidemiology/biostatistics from UC Berkeley in 2015, and a PhD in mental health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2019. Dr. Holingue’s research is focused on promoting the health of autistic and other neurodivergent individuals. She has a particular interest in the gastrointestinal health and the gut-brain connection. Dr. Holingue is the Kennedy Krieger principal investigator for the AIR-P network.
