Jackie Czyzia, MPH, is the Director of AUCD's MCH Engagement Team. Her responsibilities include overseeing the development, delivery, and evaluation of TA provided to LEND and Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) training programs through the Interdisciplinary Technical Assistance Center on Autism and Developmental Disabilities (ITAC). With subject matter expertise and leadership experience in pregnancy and infant health, Jackie brings over nine years of experience in public health and program management.
Previously, Jackie served as Assistant Director of Maternal and Child Health Programs at Genetic Alliance, where she managed federal grants focused on both family and provider education and engagement. Her position involved developing educational materials, webinars, newsletters, trainings, and message platforms for diverse audiences on complex or nuanced topics in maternal and child health, such as genetic testing and newborn screening.
Jackie earned a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration and Political Science from Elon University. She has two nephews with autism and when she is not working at the office, you can find Jackie supporting women and their families as a professional birth doula.
