Pilot Studies

In partnership with Mathematica, new data from Medicaid will be used to produce information about COVID-19 prevalence among autistic individuals during 2020, including the characteristics of individuals impacted and associated service utilization.

In partnership with the CDC and NIH, this AIR-P cross-node (Health Services and Systems and Genetics) is leveraging large, national data sources to examine genetic testing service delivery across the lifespan to autistic individuals.

The goal of this project is to identify the prevalence of motor disorders and other neurologic diagnoses among autistic older adults.

Utilizing newly implemented codes within claims data, tracking of chronic stress indicators will be linked to health service utilization and outcomes.

The overarching goal of this proposal is to inform future pre-symptomatic early intervention studies by determining how caregiver speech impacts brain development and language skills in infants at high familial risk for ASD (e.g., by virtue of having an older sibling with ASD) and identifying parental features that drive caregiver speech characteristics.
